Hello, I'm going flying from Shanghai to Paris in august and I have a transfer in Hanoi, Vietnam. The transfer time is 4 hours and I was wondering if I can get out of the airport just to take some pictures. I read that i will probably need a Viatnam visa right? But is it possible to get the visa if I will only use it for about 1 or 2 hours. And can I get it at the airport, how much does it cost?

Be kindly noted that you are not required to apply for Vietnam visa if you keep staying in the transit area at the Vietnam airport.
